  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • For the Slaw:
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Salsa
  • Avocado
  • Sour cream
  • Hot sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the fish pieces with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Arrange the seasoned fish in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
  4. Air fry for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
  5. While the fish is cooking, prepare the slaw. In a medium bowl, combine shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
  6. Warm the tortillas according to package instructions.
  7. Assemble the tacos by filling each tortilla with a portion of the air-fried fish and topping with the cabbage slaw and your favorite optional toppings.

Notes

  • Ensure the fish is fully cooked and flakes easily.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even crisping.
