- 1 can (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- If using refrigerated dough, let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes. Unroll the pizza dough onto a clean surface.
- Cut the dough into 12 equal strips. Twist each strip several times to form a knot shape.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Place the dough knots in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the knots are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the knots cook, prepare the garlic butter: combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
- Once the knots are done, transfer them to a large bowl.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the hot knots and toss gently to coat them evenly.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches for the best crispiness.
- For cheesy knots, add 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese during the last minute of cooking.
- If you prefer a softer knot, reduce the air fryer temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
