- 1 large frozen banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or 1 scoop vanilla protein powder)
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 3 ice cubes (optional, for extra thickness)
- Place the frozen banana, almond milk, peanut butter, Greek yogurt (or protein powder), and chia seeds into your blender.
- Add ice cubes if you prefer a thicker consistency.
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass immediately and serve.
Notes
- For a vegan option, substitute the Greek yogurt with an extra 1/2 cup of frozen banana or 1/4 cup of silken tofu.
- If you do not have a frozen banana, use a fresh banana and add 5-6 extra ice cubes.
- Add a handful of spinach for extra nutrients without significantly changing the flavor.
