A refreshing and vibrant sangria bursting with the flavors of mixed berries and zesty lemon, perfect for any summer gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine (like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1/2 cup triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), fresh or frozen
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water, chilled
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, triple sec, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Stir well.
  2. Add the mixed berries, lemon slices, and orange slices to the pitcher.
  3. Gently stir to combine.
  4. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Just before serving, add the chilled club soda or sparkling water to the sangria.
  6. Serve over ice, ensuring each glass gets some of the fruit.

Notes

  • For a sweeter sangria, add more simple syrup. For a tarter one, reduce the simple syrup.
  • You can substitute other fruits like peaches, raspberries, or blackberries.
  • If using frozen fruit, it will help chill the sangria.
