Ingredients
Scale
1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for drizzling
8 ounces burrata cheese
4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden and toasted. Let cool slightly.
Top each toasted baguette slice with a piece of burrata cheese.
Gently tear prosciutto slices and drape them over the burrata.
Drizzle with additional olive oil, and balsamic glaze if desired.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if using.
Notes
Ensure the burrata is at room temperature for the best creamy texture.
Prosciutto can be brittle; handle it gently when draping.
Experiment with adding a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.
