Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into small florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for extra richness)
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine almond flour, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the seasoned almond flour mixture to the cauliflower and toss until the florets are evenly coated.
  5. Place the coated cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the tots are golden brown and crispy.
  7. In a clean bowl, combine the Buffalo sauce and melted butter (if using).
  8. Add the crispy cauliflower tots to the Buffalo sauce and toss gently to coat.
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Ensure cauliflower florets are dry before coating for best results.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even crisping.
  • Adjust the amount of Buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
