Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup dried cherry blossoms
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh cherries and mint sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the dried cherry blossoms in a heatproof bowl. Pour the boiling water over them and let steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Strain the cherry blossom tea into a pitcher, discarding the blossoms.

  4. Add the fresh or frozen cherries and lemon juice to the pitcher. Gently muddle the cherries to release their flavor.
