Whip up these incredibly easy Cinnamon Roll Bites for those mornings when you crave warm, gooey cinnamon rolls without any of the fuss. This recipe skips the dough making, giving you weekend indulgence fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Do not separate the triangles.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Brush the entire surface of the dough lightly with the melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  6. Starting from a long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log.
  7. Using a sharp knife or unflavored dental floss, cut the log into 12 equal pieces (about 1 inch thick).
  8. Place the cut pieces, cut-side up, into the prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and cooked through.
  10. While the rolls bake, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl to make the glaze.
  11. Remove the rolls from the oven. Drizzle the glaze generously over the warm bites immediately.
  12. Serve warm and enjoy your quick treat.

Notes

  • If you want an extra gooey center, you can add a few extra dots of butter on top of the cinnamon sugar before rolling.
  • Dental floss works best for clean cuts without squishing the rolls.
  • For a richer flavor, substitute half of the granulated sugar in the filling with light brown sugar.
