Ingredients
Scale
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
1/8 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Green food coloring (liquid or gel)
1 cup heavy whipping cream (for topping)
1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for topping)
1/4 teaspoon pure peppermint extract (for topping)
Instructions
Chill your serving glass in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
Combine the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract, and 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract in a high-powered blender.
Add green food coloring one drop at a time, blending after each addition until you reach the desired vibrant green color. Blend until completely smooth and thick.
Pour the shake mixture into the chilled glass.
Prepare the whipped cream: In a separate bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract.
Beat the cream mixture with an electric mixer or whisk until stiff peaks form.
Top the shake generously with the homemade mint whipped cream.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For a thicker shake, reduce the milk slightly or add one extra scoop of ice cream.
Use gel food coloring for a more intense color without thinning the shake.
If you want an adult version, add 1 ounce of Irish cream liqueur to the blender mixture.
