1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Instructions
Wash and hull the strawberries.
Insert a popsicle stick into the top of each strawberry.
Freeze the strawberries until solid, about 2-3 hours.
Melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
Dip each frozen strawberry into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Place the chocolate-covered strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Freeze again until the chocolate is firm, about 30 minutes.
Notes
For a smoother chocolate coating, add a little more coconut oil if needed.
You can also use milk chocolate or white chocolate if preferred.
Add sprinkles or chopped nuts to the chocolate before it sets for extra flair.
