- 8 spring roll wrappers
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Lay one spring roll wrapper flat on a clean surface.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of Nutella in a thin layer across the bottom third of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom edge of the wrapper up over the Nutella.
- Fold in the left and right sides of the wrapper.
- Roll the wrapper up tightly to form a spring roll shape.
- Repeat with the remaining wrappers and Nutella.
- Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully place 2-3 spring rolls into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally.
- Remove the spring rolls with a slotted spoon and place them on a wire rack lined with paper towels to drain.
- Repeat with the remaining spring rolls.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the spring roll wrappers are sealed well to prevent Nutella from leaking out during frying.
- Fry in batches to maintain oil temperature and achieve crispiness.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
