A simple, no-bake recipe for making refreshing, sweet, and tart frozen yogurt bark with fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt, full fat recommended
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Spread the yogurt mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, aiming for about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thickness.
  4. Arrange the sliced strawberries over the yogurt surface. Press them lightly into the yogurt.
  5. Sprinkle the chia seeds over the top, if using.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
  7. Once frozen, remove the bark from the sheet by lifting the parchment paper. Break the bark into irregular pieces.
  8. Serve immediately or return pieces to an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

  • Use full-fat yogurt for a creamier texture that breaks easier.
  • For easier breaking, score the yogurt lightly with a knife before freezing.
  • You can substitute strawberries with other firm fruits like blueberries or raspberries.
  • For a chocolate version, drizzle melted dark chocolate over the yogurt before freezing.
