Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup melted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. This is key for crispiness.
In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and flour until evenly coated.
Arrange the floured wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl.
Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss gently to coat evenly.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy wings, you can bake them for an additional 5-10 minutes after saucing.
Adjust the amount of garlic to your preference.
If you don’t have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley, but use less.
