Ingredients
Scale
1.5 lbs beef sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
8 ounces cherry tomatoes
8 ounces button mushrooms, halved
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Add the steak cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
Thread the marinated steak cubes and vegetable pieces onto the skewers, alternating ingredients for an appealing look.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Grill the kebabs for 8-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add your favorite herbs like rosemary or thyme to the marinade.
You can substitute the vegetables with zucchini, yellow squash, or corn on the cob pieces.
Ensure all pieces on the skewer are roughly the same size for even cooking.
