Make this classic ham and cheddar quiche using leftover ham for a satisfying savory breakfast pie perfect for any morning gathering.

  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Scatter the diced ham evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the ham layer.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
  5. Slowly pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese in the pie crust.
  6. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the center is set and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the quiche cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
