Ingredients
Scale
4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup heavy cream (optional, for extra richness)
Instructions
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the corn kernels to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes until the corn starts to brown slightly.
Stir in the honey, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute, allowing the honey to coat the corn.
If using, pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2 minutes.
Remove from heat immediately and serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh corn when in season for the best texture.
For a slight kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper with the salt and pepper.
This dish pairs well with grilled chicken or barbecue.
