Ingredients
Scale
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined. This is your garlic butter.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Spread an equal amount of the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For pan-searing, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, add the garlic, cook for 30 seconds, then sear the salmon skin-side down for 5 minutes before flipping and cooking for another 3-5 minutes.
You can substitute dried parsley with 1 tablespoon of fresh chopped parsley for a brighter flavor.
