Ingredients

Scale
  • 750 ml bottle of your favorite kombucha (plain or ginger flavor recommended)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), fresh or frozen
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons of honey or agave nectar, if a sweeter drink is desired

Instructions

  1. Prepare your fruit: Wash and thinly slice the orange, lemon, and lime. Rinse the berries.
  2. Combine ingredients in a pitcher: Add the sliced citrus, mixed berries, and mint leaves to a large pitcher.
  3. Add kombucha: Pour the entire bottle of kombucha over the fruit and mint.
  4. Sweeten if desired: If you prefer a sweeter sangria, stir in honey or agave nectar until dissolved.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve: Pour the Kombucha Sangria into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with extra berries or a sprig of mint if you like.

Notes

  • For an extra festive touch, you can add a splash of sparkling water or white wine.
  • Adjust the amount of fruit and mint to your preference.
  • If using frozen berries, they will help to keep the sangria cold.
