1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Cooked rice, for serving
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper.
Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat evenly.
Let the beef marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until caramelized and cooked through.
