- 2 (6 ounce) cod fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the fish.
- Rub the minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper evenly onto the top of each fillet.
- Place two or three lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute cod with tilapia or haddock.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine to the baking sheet before cooking.
