1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
Place the meatballs in a slow cooker.
In a separate bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
Serve hot.
Notes
You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
