Make quick, flavorful pork chops coated in a sticky, spicy, and sweet Sriracha honey glaze. This recipe fixes common pitfalls to give you perfectly cooked meat every time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6-ounce) boneless pork chops, about 3/4-inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust for heat preference)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the pork chops for 3 to 4 minutes per side until nicely browned. Remove the chops from the skillet and set them aside.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
  5. Pour the glaze mixture into the same skillet. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens slightly, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. Return the browned pork chops to the skillet. Spoon the glaze over the chops repeatedly for about 1 minute, until the chops are fully coated and heated through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F.
  7. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 3 minutes before serving. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the top.

Notes

  • For thicker chops, you may need to reduce the heat after searing to prevent the outside from burning before the inside cooks.
  • Use low-sodium soy sauce if you prefer less salt in your final dish.
  • If the glaze becomes too thick while reducing, add a teaspoon of water to thin it slightly.
