Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup sriracha
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Flip the wings and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine sriracha, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
Heat the sauce over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it simmers and thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven.
Pour the sriracha honey sauce over the hot wings and toss to coat evenly.
Return the wings to the oven for 5 more minutes to allow the glaze to set.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.
Notes
For crispier wings, you can bake them at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes per side.
Adjust the amount of sriracha to control the spice level.
