Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain off any excess grease.
In a medium bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is fully combined.
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface. Separate the dough into individual triangles.
Place about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of the beef mixture near the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up each triangle tightly, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the tip. Pinch the edges together to seal.
Place the rolled appetizers seam-side down on an ungreased baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the rolls lightly with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if using.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving. Watch them vanish!
Notes
You can prepare the filling mixture a day ahead and store it in the refrigerator.
For a spicier kick, add a dash of your favorite hot sauce to the filling mixture.
Do not overfill the crescent rolls, or the filling may leak out during baking.
